David Apaflo

About

David Apaflo is a Chartered Accountant, tax strategist, and governance practitioner based in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the founder and Managing Director of Shelze Professional Services, a leading multi-disciplinary professional services firm delivering assurance, tax, advisory, and regulatory intelligence across West Africa.

David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI), a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), and holds an MBA from Lagos Business School. He achieved ICAN Fellowship at age 28. He is Vice Chairman of the Lagos & District Society of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and a Fellow of the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN).

He is a Christian and a believer in Jesus Christ. His faith shapes his approach to leadership, service, and public life.

David is the founder of the Greenstreet Foundation, which runs programmes in education, youth empowerment, and community development across Nigeria. He is a TEDx speaker (University of Lagos) and a long-standing volunteer with the FATE Foundation.

This blog is his personal platform for writing on Pan-African fiscal governance, philosophy, Christian thought, and ideas that matter.
